Why you should visit Jibhi?
Jibhi is a hidden Paradise of its own accord and hands down the best place to visit in Himachal. With numerous streams and waterfalls, you’ll find yourself in awe of its existence at every curve. It’s an offbeat destination loved by backpackers and travellers alike.
We took a bus from Delhi and arrived at Aut very early in the morning. It was quite chilly as we took a cab from Aut to reach Jibhi.
Before arriving, we contacted the owner of Lato The Hut to book our stay for 5 days. The property has the best views in all of Jibhi, situated along the stream and surrounded by the deodar forest. It speaks of opulence and serenity.
Our stay was comfortable and we loved it for its location and authentic Himachali food. We’d give a 10 out of 5 stars to Lato for their service. It’s the kind of place that you’d want to visit again and again.
Delhi to Jibhi
The distance from Delhi to Jibhi is approximately 500 km. It’s easily accessible and is close to famous hill stations like Manali and Shimla. One can reach here by taking the public transport aka buses or hire a cab either from Delhi or from Aut, whichever suits you best.
As the road cuts from the main highway, it gets quite narrow. I wouldn’t suggest that you drive on your own if you are an inexperienced driver.
Location
Jibhi is a hamlet famous for its serene waterfalls and treehouses. It’s a small town located in the Banjar Valley of Himachal Pradesh. It’s situated halfway on the route from Banjar to Jalori Pass.

We stayed at the most beautiful property in all of Jibhi and I wouldn’t suggest any other location for your stay. Surrounded by majestic deodars and a calmly flowing stream right below makes for a perfect spot.
For travellers planning a long staycation or work from Mountains style holiday, you can opt for cheap yet surreal homestays. Homestays in Jibhi offer an authentic Himalayan experience.
